just read an article where pro's were givin tips. said to add a spoonfull of cooking oil to the wash water-said it helped the soap and dirt slide off . wierd huh?new to me

Hmmm....sounds kinda hinkey. Oil and water. But, who am I to second guess someone who is a professional washer? That title just isn't given out, you know.

well, i'll try it once. was a reputable rag and i'm sure they didn't print it as a joke. had some other tips such as using carnuba-leaving in shade 4 grs after the wax job, ect... but this just sounded wierd. FWIW

Be sure to use olive oil as it is heart friendly.

I just tried the cooking oil and surprise it actually works and when I was done I was able to fry a hamburger on the bike without damaging the paint!
