I read from other post that if the bike is running lean, the bike should be hotter... however, how about other feeling? Say, would the acceleration be slower? Or the bike seems to be lack of power?

When the bike is running lean,you will hear it popping on deceleration,also backfiring is possible. A lean running condition can cause overheating of the engine.
sometimes it will "fart" through the air cleaner, but like the '07s, it can run really lean and still seem ok. best way to check is to pull the plugs and see if there is a white chalky appearance to the electrodes. ought to be a light tan. darker to black, indicates a rich AFR condition.
