you MUST use the Harley wax for Ultra's. Using any other brand wax, or even Harely's Classic wax or even worse their Standard wax will void your warranty ! ! ! ! !
Glare polish and Honda Glare is the same exact product. This was confirmed by the Glare manufacture. Its half the cost. Some of the people here might freak out at the Honda name. Its the best product you will every use. I have a whole garage full of wax/polish. Try Glare or Honda Glare you will be over amazed!!!
Zaino Clay Bar then Zaino Z-1 and then Zaino Z6 Gloss Enhancer. You will be amazed after the clay bar at how smooth the paint is and you only have to clay it once a year. All of this is a little pricy but the Zaino last forever. Use it on my 2000 vette and 81 shovel head and now on the 2007 Ultra.
Occasioanly I use wax (Mother's Carnuba Cleaner Wax...about $8 at walmart), but more often I use Lucas Slick Mist (about $8 at Autozone in a cobalt blue spray bottle). The Lucas product (made by Lucas Oil Co) is simple...wet down a cloth and wipe paint & chrome (make sure it's cool to the touch) with it until dry. It's easy to use, inexpensive, and leaves clearcoat paint looking absolutely wet!
Someone actualy approached me outside of a store and said, "Hey you know the "furniture polish" secret too huh?". He went on to say furniture polish does the same thing. Haven't tried that so I don't know, but I swear by the Lucas product at Autozone. Been using it for some time and their seems to be no adverse affects on my paint or chrome...only deep, wet looking paint. Hope this helps.
