I bit the bullet and bought a 07 Classic. I read about a lot of sniveling about it on this forum. RattleGlide, Shakerglide, heaterglide, yada, yada yada...... The ol lady and I took a trip on it, 1500 miles, and I've got to say, it's the best ride we've ever been on.We got off the Shovel and Evo to get on this bike. Man, 500 miles, and no pain. We did install the cruise control, and I put that up there with air conditioning. I think that was 90% of the comfort. Other than that, it's a frigginHarley. It shakes. It vibrates. It runs a lot cooler than my shovel or Evo. The only REAL noise was the ol lady wanting me to stop before 200 miles. If you are looking for something that runs cooler, doesn't give your ol lady orgasms, shut up and get a Jap bike.

I have to agree traded a build 98 EVO Rk for my 07 RG and have not noticed any of the problems that were mentioned from other 07 owners. I know my was built 3/16/07, and it is a lot quiter (engine and trany) than my EVO. Rides a lot nicer. Love the tunes now.
