18" for retained handling, stance and cool factor. Not to mention alleviating the worry of a possible flat inBFE looking for an oversize tirethat may be hard to find.[&:]

EDIT: they all look good, I'm just giving my $.02 as everybody has their own opinion hence what makes the world go round. I love them all....LOL..

18" HogPro LeMans front and rear. I love the setup and would do the same again if I had to.

If you are going to do it go 21x18 Chrome you'll never regret it
Thanks Ice! Pretty well come around to the 21/18 option after these pics and feedback.

Kasper and Kern...which wheels do you have? I'm looking hard at the 8 spokes.

GliderXXX,

My wheels are from Renegade wheels and are called the Dallas, thier website is: http://www.renegadewheels.com/Renega...ade_Cover.html
I'm running a 21 x 3.25 front and a 18 x 4.25 rear with Metzler tires 120 x 21 front and 150 x 18 rear. Renegades website also has an area where you can see the different wheels on your particular bike with the different sizes....and you can print them off to and leave them lying around for a few days to help you decide....that's what I had to do.

Ijust went for a long ride today and paid particular attention to the ride quality. I think the bike actually handles better with this combination over the stock 16's. It seems to be more precise in it's handling and cornering. I always found the 16" wheels to be kind of lazy in handling and cornering. Now it seems to have more of a sport bike feel to it.

Good idea Kasper! I'm sure I'll have a lot of those lying around before it's all said and done.
I'm glad to hear you truly find the handling with the 21" not only acceptable but better. Like so many things, (seats, handle bars, etc.) it's hard to make the call without being able to try it first hand. I do a fair amount of long trips, and certainly didn't want to turn the bike into a show bike or strictly performance oriented one at long haul touring expense.

Thanks for all your feedback..you've been very helpful!

Ultra...understood! You're right..they do ALL look good!! That's what makes it so hard. Your 18's (along with others look sweet!) Do you run 18"s on the rear as well?

Yes, I run an 18F/18R combo and like Primo, would do it again if the opportunity presented itself.

That is what I am planning to do... I am going with a 21" on the front, but didn't want to drop another $800 ona rear wheel at this time. So I am leaving the rear stock for now. HogPro told me there are no issues with doing this. People go with the 18" in the rear to show off a little bit more of that expensive wheel they just bought (because the difference in cost between a chrome 16" and 18" wheel is almost nothing).

I'm thinking 18's front and back, and just lower the front fender for the tight 21 look ?

Right now I'm running stock on the rear and a 21" Fat Daddy up front. The original plan was to paint a white wall on the front, but I decided that I liked the look of the new wheel/tire without the whitewall. I'm planning on putting a matching18" on the back this winter. Only handling difference I notice is at low speeds. The 21" wheel raises the front about an inch. The back of my bike is lowerred as well so it's a little bit of a double whammy. I will lower my front end this winter to help out with this. It's nice to see some wheel and not just rotor.
