10000 mile service
my 04 roarking just hit 10k should i take it to the stealer for the 10k service?or can i do it myself? what do they do for 410.00 dollars?and will this effect my extended warenty if i do it myself

You can doi the service yourself, you need to keep your reciepts for oil filters and such, (had a friend who had to prove he had the parts purchase reciept for a warranty issue later...) and document in your book that the service was performed, at what mileage and the date..... 410.00 service if you do yourself will cost you about 110.00-130.00 including spark plugs using synthetic oil and Harley filter....

Just had teh 10K Servicedone on my 2005 Road King atMills Harley Davidson, Burlington NJ $318.00out the door with synthetic oil best price around, My selling dealer who will remain nameless also in NJ wanted $450 for the same service !!!!! Figure that out?? Call Carol in service at Mills HD 609 386-1871 she is the service manager the lady with the knowledge shes been there a long time, don't know what Id do without her!!! Frank and Diane the Bossesare ya listening!!!!! Ride Safe Bill

Paid $313.11 today for the 10,000 mile on my 08 Streetglide, thought that was fair with Syn3. Smokin' HD in Winston-Salem, NC (used to be called Curly's up until last year)
