I never noticed how long the stock whips were until you mentioned it. Picking mine up on Thursday and am concerned about low hanging wires.
What is the customary replacement? The 12" rubber ducky type?
Where can I find shorter replacements?? I would prefer steel to the rubber duck type around 12" being a HamRadio guy I'm not keen on the way the rubber duck style antenna's usually work!
