i have a 2005 ultra...i am wanting more torque through all gears....not to concerned about top speed as long as i can run up to 90 mph...what can you do to create more torque for about 2000.00 budget,,,thanks..
More Cubic inches is always good, most dealers offer the 95" upgrade around christmas for about 1400.00, then you could just add lower rpm torque cams and a good exhaust and power comander or other device.
I have an 05 FLHTC carbed
Running SE II slipons
SE breather with K&N filter
Andrews 21G cams
Bored 95" cylinders
Stage 1 Hammerhead ported heads
Runs like a Frieght train. Have only had it up to 100 in 4th gear and still pulling hard
You should be able to get 21G cams, or others like the 26G the 21 comes on sooner, bored 95" cylinders and labor including tuning for $2000 or under, adding light headwork in the $2000 to $2500 range. You will not be sorry
