$29.95 = equivalent watch
$170.00 = add-on for Harley logo
Made where? Certainly not here.
Agreed. The intrinsic value of any watch is probably no more than the above $30 (parts, etc.). However, when you buy a watch or jewelry you are buying a look or a uniqueness. As it's been said before, a Honda Rebel 250 will get you to the same place as my ultra.
However,I prefer to arrive in style............................................. .
A 20 buck Timex from Walmart will do everything a 200+ buck watch will do.
Maybe it's just me, but every cheap watch I buy, my sweat starts to eat pits in the watch case and pretty well ruins it in less than a year. Those $20 watches are made of poet metal not quality stainless steel.
I have a harley watch made by bulova,it's a 2003 anniversary model, and has the flip up face. It keeps perfect time, and I just had to replace the battery this year. If you have the money, and like the watch, why not buy it?
Bulovas are pretty good watches actually, not cheapos. That said, my $25 Armitron works just fine. Dont really dig that big, highly noticable "R" trademark thing either.
