Not sure either. I kinda like larger mirrors to help me see better. To be honest I just don't pay much attention to mirrors on other bikes.

I personally prefer something that'll let me see what's behind me. I looked forever and ended up with a set of Kuryakyns.

I put small mirrors like that on my V-Rod and hated them. They looked cool, but you couldn't see crap in them!

Nope, not a fan either. I bought some nice ones thatI thought really went with the look I was after for my bike. They had a spade in the arm, and a diamond shaped head. They looked just fine on the bike, but I could not see anything. I immediately took them off, and sent them back. I searched and am continuing to search for just the right ones. I just can't seem to find what really works best for style an function. What I have done, in the meantime, is to invert the stock ones. Ya know, left on the right, and vice versa. Mounted them under the bars, instead of on top. With 18" bars, I didn't like looking up to see behind me. I find that looking slightly down works better. Plus, I like the look of it now better. IMO.

My only problem with the stock mirrors is that the arms are too short. I'd like them a little further out.
