Does anyone have any pictures/recommendations for replacement handlebars? I have to reach too far on the stock bars and it kills my back on longer rides.
put on Pull back bars this past spring on my 06. smae problem plus low speed right turns were a bit**h as I could hardley reach the clutch. No pics to get to but are in Harley parts book.............good luck...........Marty
I installed the Touring Pullback bars on my EGC. These bars actually come closer in to the rider at the grip, as well as back toward the rider, compared to stock. I really liked the stock bar grip position--they just did not come back far enough--so I had the installer lower the elevation of the grips on the pullbacks to the same elevation as stock. That helped a lot.
It took a few rides to get use to them, but now they are fine.
Can really lean back on the backrest and still hold my grips.
just curios...for people that use pull back bar, how tall are u and how long are ur hand....??
me 178cm and my hand about 60cm also have same problem with thread starter, but last week try my friends 07 ultra with pull back bar, the bar to close with my body, the bar only about 20-25cm from body...give me some problem when i turn left/right at very slow speed, the bar hit my body....
anything between stock and pull back will be better for my posture,.... any idea ..??

The HD touring pullback bar actually twists your wrists and puts your hands closer together. That in itself would give me problem in slow maneuvers. That is why I wouldn't go with that bar, but that's just me.

Do you have a pic of your bars installed.? How did you get past the notched end for the fly by wire sensor.?

Here's one
I simply made the necessary notches in the new handlebar to hold the throttle sensor in the bar as it is done on the OE bars. It is a very easy job if you are somewhat mechanical. I read all the grip and handlebar instruction sheets from HD for the 08's prior to doing this
