Default 06 FLH cloudy headlight

I have noticed a couple of times that my headlight seems kinda cloudy when I fire up the bike. I just checked it again and it isstrange cause it’s just the top half of the headlight that seems this way. Is there any way to clean this on my 06, which has the H4 lamp and reflector in it?

Both my spots and main have this starting. I have no idea if you can clean it short of removal and maybe using alcohol to wash it out..????? Just an Idea.???

Talked with my friend who was service manager at my $tealer and he said the only thing he knows is to use a cleaner and cloth on some sort of stick and insert into housing to clean... [sm=lame.gif]

Where is Tatoo when you really need him? [sm=headbang.gif]

Handfull of crushed ice with some baking soda. Swish it around in there and then rinse and blow dry with your Ol's hair drier...

Had the same thing happen to my 01' Glyde. Looked bad. I took out the headlight and carefully detached the bulb. That leaves approx 3/4" hole into the dome you can use to clean the inside. I cut a coat hanger down and made a makeshift tool with a loop on the end. I wrapped that end with paper towel sprayed it withWindex and swabbed the inside clean as new
