Default Kuryakyn Lizard Lights

Over the last couple of weeks I added Kuryakyn's Lizzard lights to my 07 Ultra. I decided to wire them in to the accessory switch on the dash so I could flip them on and off with easy access while riding. I usedone Maximus Starter kit and one expansion pack. There are 6 pods around the motorand 4 around around the rear wheel/fender.

There are 7 colors and a controller that can be set to paint mode which cycles through the colors. The cycle speed can be adjusted and or a flash can be added. You can also set it to one color and add a flash if desired. I plan to set it to one color without flash and most likely will be blue however the green and purple are really nice but must be seen to appreciate.

I created this video for those that might be interested but the video really doesn't do it justice. Keep in mind that laws on LED lighting vary from state to state. I've run blue LED lighting for years in this part of Texas with no issues.

Looks good are you satisfied with the 10 pods or are you thinking of adding any additional? Did you do the install yourself? If you did how difficult was it? Thanks for the info........

10 pods may be enough but I'll let a little time go by before I decide. Adding more is a piece of cake. Yes I did the install myself. Keep in mind that I had already installed the Harley Accessory plug on my right engine cover. I simply cut off the spade connectors that normally attach to the battery post on the Lizard light controller and soldered them to the back side of the plug. That was the hardest part but very easy if you're comfortable with a soldering iron.

The kit comes with everything you need. and is very easy to do. I did take the seat, saddlebags, horn cover bracket and air clearneroff to make routing wires easy. There are 4 pods stuck under the gas tank on both sides, one zip tied to the horn wires on the back side of the horn bracket and one stuck on the backside of the air cleaner mounting bracket. I worried about the heat with the one on the back side of the air cleaner but after 2 weeks it appears to handle it just fine. The whole thing took about 3 hours to do.

I went with elctropods on my bike. I used a klexable strip under each side of the tank. One onder my carb, one under my horn cover, and one at the back of the engine. I plan on adding a few more. Specifically one at the front of the engine. One on each side of the front wheels, and two on each side of the rear wheels. O chose green and added a box that will control them (either flash fast to slow, or on steady). I really like them and the kit sells for about a hundred bucks.
