I have a set from Wilson Leather. They are made for looks, not going down on pavement. Leather is too thin and too soft in my opinion. I don't have confidence in them and therefore don't recomend them. Have not seen the Foxcreek ones. But I have bought from them in the past and thier other stuff is top shelf.

Wilson leather is for the mall, they are not for riding on pavement. The leather they use is often thinner than a sheet of paper glued to cloth to give it some heft. You want leather for protection, you need stuff that is 1.4mm thick and above. Yes, that means that leather will be very stiff and uncomfortable for the first year or so until it's broken in. But it won't disintegrate if it touches pavement either

I got a pair of Hotleathers chaps for $50 at Daytona one year. Had to sew up the seam at the bottom, but once that was done they've served me well enough over the years. My bro had the same leathers and dumped it in a wreck on Highway 40 there and they worked. As long as the leather is good and thick I can't imagine it matters too much unless you absolutely need a certain brand.
