Default Easy Money "Adjustable Windshield"

As a new member I 've learned a lot by reading all of your post. I still have some decisons to make. One thing stands out is which windshield. If there was a height adjustable windshield you could install to avoid having to change from 8" sport, 16" long trip or 18" rain I bet many of us would get in line to make a purchase. Does anyone know of such an animal?

Ride Hard,
Ride Well.

My co-worker has that on his BMW. Says it's the best part about that bike.

Aftermarket on Goldwings, but stock on BMW K1200LT, several other BMW models, & a few other metric bikes. It's easy to make fun of, but it's actually one of the best features you can find on a motocycle. Being able to look over the shield when you want, or raise it for weather or high speed wind noise is one of the few things I miss about my BMW days.

I'll put that on my list, just after I install the automatic heater and air conditioner. I ride a Harley for God's sake!!!

The BMW also had heated seats & grips (air conditioning is standard on *all* motorcycles in case you haven't noticed), both of which were handy at times. OTOH, while you ride "a Harley for Gods sake", you ride a comfort Harley. Try 35 years riding without fairings, windshields, tour-pacs, floor boards, cruise control, radio, CD player, & what ever other comfort items your E Glide comes stock with. Nobody said a power windshield was necessary, just a nice feature. I've done my time growin' up with the motorcycle industry. If I find someone makin' a machine with all the features I want I'll ride it & give a **** about what brand snobs think.

Adjustable windshields come standard on Goldwings too, you have to manually move it with your hands while stopped but nevertheless ...

Man, the power windshield is the one option that I want more than anything else on my Ultra. My brother has a R1200RT and the power windshield is awesome.
