Love mine too - can't wait to add some speakers to them this winter!
I think this would really be great for me. I have a rk custom, so no tunes. I am planning on adding speaker to my bags this winter, and if I got lowers and added speaker to them, I would have the surround sound effect I want. I was checking on http://www.hoggchopps.com/index.htmland they seem like they might work well. I know they don't come with a glove box for adding speakers, but maybe I could figure something out. Anyone have any experience with them? They are less expensive and come in factory colors, which is one less thing to worry about. But, they don't seem to be the highest quality, and seems like their brackets might break. Anyone know anything about them?
I really like my lowers. I did take them off for the hot weather riding in the summer, but they will always be on for cooler weather riding. I dont know if I would shell out $500 or $600 for a set, but they sure are nice. I like having them for any cool or wet weather. The little pouch on them is also very handy extra storage space you can get to without stopping.
Took a while for me to get mine. I got them , should have put them on when I brought the bike. In Az. the hot air coming off the road at speed made me wish for my old Vetter windjammerII fairing with the lowers. so I had to get lowers on my RG.Glad I did. The only problem I have is where to mount my fog lights
bought mine a couple of months ago, vented lowers, I like the way they look and they take alot of the wind off my legs, have no plans to remove them ! very pleased.
