Default Hellloo Touring

Well, I did it. I traded my 06 Super Glide Custom for an 07 Road King WOW, What a difference, feels like I'm glued to the road, smooth, great handling and I really like the windshield.Wifey likes it to, we can actually talk to eachother over our shoulders...wait, that could be a bad thing. Maybe to quiet[8D]

I went to adealer recommended to me by a buddy. I was burning the candle at both ends, the dealer here in town and the dealer in Raleigh. Raleigh won. I had bought my SG from the dealer here in fayetteville and they were close. But when I bought my SG from them I couldn't even get a t-shirt out of them[:@]

Well, the dealer in Raliegh came up off 500 biker bucks and 10% off parts as well as beating the local (which was 1K under MSRP) by 200 bucks OTD. They also threw in the compimentary t-shirt, battery tender, kickstand plate (for hot asphalt). AND with the 500 biker bucks I got a service manual, cushion grips, backrest/pad with associated parts and smoked turn signal lenses, oh and a cool hat for my boy. So I guess you could call them "free". I know they made money or they wouldn't have done it....but it makes me feel good anyway.

I didn't get nothin extra, no exteneded warranty, preferred customer service or anything. They were trying to push a 7yr extended warranty though with that preferred customer thing, but that would have been close to 3K.

So, I am looking forward to many comfortable miles on my new RK Oh, its suedeblue and black two tone. That color looks awsome out in the sun with all that metal flake in the blue.

Anyone in NC, I'd recommend Raliegh if your shoppin'

You shopped it well, seems to me there are some stealers willing to do the right thing to get you the bike you want, T-shirt and hats cost them nothing, and they put a smile on your face in the end.
I call this place the Country Club, so welcome friend.

thanks for the replys folks. Yeah, I went away happy, it is about 60 bucks more a month, but I think it is very worth it. Especially since I have not had my dyna but for 17 months.I would recommend these guys to anyone. I'm gonna cool it for awhile on this one (yeah right!) about installing a bunch of add-ons. I think I got it outta my system with my dyna. But I won't say never, you know how that goes LOL. I did love that bike, but it just wasn't "it". This RK really feels like I'm riding something, I dunno, hard to explain.

Anyway, I got all the freebies put on this AM, no problems. It's funny, after trying to sort out the quick-detach backrest and assoiciated goodies the second side went on in about 10 minutes. The first side I did (left) took me about 50 minutes, most of it was trying to figure out between the insrtuctions/pictures/with or without front and rear detach kit etc. But as I said, after the proverbial light came on, it was a breeze.

Ya'll have a good'un
