Default Amber frame reflector removal?

This is probably a dumb azz question but does anybody know if the amber frame reflectors in front of the motor on a 08 S/G come off without damaging or marking up the frame? What is the best way to take them off?

Grab it, twist it, pull it, and otherwise rip it off. They're glued on with double-sided tape....

Slide dental floss down behind it and pull it off.

Works like a charm, then clean the frame with a little brake cleaner on a rag, or goo gone. But only use a little

A hair drier or heat gun will help soften the tape

Or, you can secure your SG in a trailer using the down tubes as anchoring points. When you get to your destination, the reflectors will be laying on the floor. Ask me how I know!

Can you take the reflectors off the black fork lowers the same way? I want to get some from H-D, but the pics of them with those big reflectors has me worried...

I second third or fourth the dental floss idea. I let the bike sit in the sun or after a ride on a sunny summer day prior to removal.

Use a Heat gun on them for a few seconds and dental floss and they will be gone, although I think when you buy the kit they are not installed but come with the kit.
