FL / FX frame question
1. When HD updated theframesin the early 1980's, was the same framed used with theFL forksand the FX forks,or were they different frames?
2. Can the FX fat bob tank and speedometer instrument cluster, be mounted on the FL models such as the FLT and FLH?

The FXR was the first rubber mount Fx I know a FX seat wouldnt fit a FL seat my 82 fxr had a hinged seat that swung up for battery access (rider portion) also had narrow front end so I doubt if they were the same not sure what year the FL came with a 5 speed ..
