Default wierd

i put the fork air deflector on the other day and it seems my oil temp doesnt climb as quickly and is about 10-15 degrees cooler. is that possible just from this simple 25 dollar mod??? i'm assuming the deflected air hits the engine area

A few other swear their bikes run cooler with it too, but seems to me if it was true harley would have not stoped putting them on all models except road glide back in 01 for some reason all road glides still come with them.

Harley wants them to run hotter for emissions....

I put one on mine and also noticed that it takes longer for the oil temp to come up.

Same here on running a little cooler down the highway. Looks like rather than the air coming up the front of the tank, it gets pushed down and back on the motor. By the same token, I bought it to cut the cold air off me a bit. Out side temps are lower for me now so naturally the bike is running cooler. Well worth the $$$$ either way. And afive minute install to boot (if you run the tap, less if you don't).
