Default Helmet Locks

Interested in looking into something that would lock the helmet (s) to my bike. Saw one where it fits on the saddle bag guards.

Does anyone know where or how to find something like that?

Thanks for any help.

Hey Rockround.

Thanks for the heads up. Dealership is open today, think I'll run over there and pick up a couple.

Thanks again.

Hey Dan,
I see by your sig that you're riding an Ultra. I used the same helmet locks and mounted them under the tourpak. Only have to drill 4 holes and they bolt right up. Get a couple of the T-bars that hang down and slip through your chin strap clasp - you're in business. The set up will be similar to what come stock on a Gold Wing. I went a step further and had the tumblers reworked at a locksmith to fit a key I was already carrying. Good luck.

He obviously does it "Behind" peoples back.
Why doesnt he just take the knife and scratch their paint, stab their tires? Why stop at helmet straps?

Had a helmet stolen off my bike at the cherokee rally, I live in SC so no helmet law, but this was in NC if I had'nt had some extra money to get another I'd been screwed [:@]Wasn't even a great looking helmet, and I had it strapped down pretty tight so it wasn't a walk by scoop up thing either! Would have been a bad day at black rock if me or god help them, some of my buddies had seen them Thieves SUX no other way to say it!

Try this link

http://www.4-motorcycles.co.uk/acata...lmet_Safe.html

I use one of these products the 'Stuff Safe 80'. Its great, packs to a role about 12" long by 4" wide. It will hold my lid, my wifes and a couple of waterproof jackets. It will easily take one lid,a heavy leather jacket, and gloves.

If someone wants your lid bad enough they will just cut the strap and sow on another from an old lid, the Stuff Safe stops this and is easy to use. You can even wrap the nylon coated steel cord around one of your saddle bags fot a little added security.

Of course its still only a deterrent and if people want your stuff bad enough you wont stop em.

Still I cant recommend this product high enough.

Have the HD Helmet lock & mounted it on the top of the Engine Guard Left Side... Also carry a Gun Cable Lock and lock them to the Rack... (Gun cable lock was a freebie at a rally... Free is a good thing...
