Thanks for the feed back. Not exactly sure how they mount since I don't have em in hand, but I will go by the dealership shortly and pick em up. I thought perhaps the saddlebag guard would suffice, one on each side for his and hers, however your idea is interesting. If mounted under tourpac..what about having to bend down and look up or under to lock them? Not exactly sure about how you have them mounted. Any pics available???
Anyway, thanks for the idea and I'll let you know later.
Hey Clint, you may want to brush up on local laws. If you shoot someone you think is stealing anything outside your home you will be making furniture at the state inn.

Maybe therebut I have every right to defend myself against forcible felony here in FL.I would think that a dude with aknifein his hand qualifiesif, when I holler "STOP", he turns on me with said knife in his hand. What'cha bet he would do just that. BTW - local Lawincludes Extended Castle Doctrine. Want to do some brush up?
Call it what you want but whats to say it has a knife? and how would you explain it if he does not. You do not have the right to use force how you see fit and protecting you bike is not like protecting your family. Go ahead and shoot and explain it to the judge that you were protecting your helmet. Even the police who are being shot at have to explain why they shot a perp so you will have even more fun. You can talk bad all you want just makes you sound stupid. Mayby you can shoot me for saying that tough guy.
Have the HD Helmet lock & mounted it on the top of the Engine Guard Left Side... Also carry a Gun Cable Lock and lock them to the Rack... (Gun cable lock was a freebie at a rally... Free is a good thing...
I dothe same thing but received a freebie gun-lock cable from another type of dealer along with my buddy, Mr. Colt. Mr. Colt isback-up for locked my stuff(like a helmet) orin caseI ever need to protect myself from some stinking a-holewitha knife in hishand who's messing around with my locked stuff.

I don't plan to explain what happens under your new conditions of some"no knife" alteration. Whatever ha[[ensthere in LA (probably confiscation of civilian firearms after a terrible hurricane if memory serves), it'sYOUthat needs to "brush up on law" (reading is fundamental).
Hey Dan,
I see by your sig that you're riding an Ultra. I used the same helmet locks and mounted them under the tourpak. Only have to drill 4 holes and they bolt right up. Get a couple of the T-bars that hang down and slip through your chin strap clasp - you're in business. The set up will be similar to what come stock on a Gold Wing. I went a step further and had the tumblers reworked at a locksmith to fit a key I was already carrying. Good luck.
