Default 2006 Street Glide & 1999 Road King Axles

I am selling my rims, tires, rotors and pulley off my '06 Street Glide (221 miles on them) and I was wondering if it will bolt up to a 1999 or earlier Touring bike w/o any modifications? I know my axles are 1" (f/r) in diameter but I'm not sure about the 1999 and earlier bikes.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure, but I don't see why they would bolt right on.

You (or he) will have spacing issues to sort out because of the wider tire. 2006 rear tire is 140 mm. 1999 is 130mm. In ’04 they offset the rear wheel slightly to allow for the wider back tire. I believe all he would need is the right wheel spacers.

The wheels will not just bolt on a '99 or earlier.

84-99 have 3/4' axles

00-06 have 1'

if the 99 has smaller axles you can change the bearings to conform to which ever axles you have. been there!

Yeah, what he said. You can change the wheel bearings to ¾” and make sure you have the right spacers.
