I popped $150 for the Craftsman aluminum one. It's 44 lbs and much easier to operate than their cheaper model. Plus it has a lower clearence, 3 1/2 " which slides easily under my 05 Ultra. Lifts both wheels, has straps and as stable as an inexpensive lift can be.
I keep mine up when storing to keep the fuel tank full. But I seldom take it up very high.
Anybody have any experience with the RiderLift? It's pretty pricey (@$359), but it's a good looking lift from the brochure. 30" high. It can be seen here: www.riderequipment.com
I got the sears jack, Its ok but if you are serious you need to show this site to the honey,It is X-MAS. Time for giving or getting.
gregsmithequipment.com, I got the PRO CYCLE DT for x-mas last year and it is great. You can change the rear tire with this model and they are adding a free jack this year. I have 3 harleys and this makes it so much easier to service them. some of my buddies come over to use my lift or to drink my beer, not sure which.
I noticed that no one has mentioned the Pit Bull yet. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Are they any good? I'm wondering if I should get a Pit Bull or just go with the Dunwell. I've never heard of the Dunwell before, and they sure do look nice on their website.
I have a Pit Bull that I use for the Road King and my Goldwing. It is a great tool. I can wheel either bike around at will and requires no straps. Very solid. I also have a Harbor Freight table lift that I would highly recommend.
I am in the market for a motorcycle jack. I know not to buy a cheap one. Tears for the rest of my life. Is the one at sams club any good. All imput greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bob.
How about the HarleyDavidson lift, comes with the bar and shield already stuck on it.
I bought the one at Sams. I had to put spacers over the legs of the jack and under my frame rails to prevent jacking my DYNA up on the lower pan. I just purchased a Road King and according to specs it actually a bit lower than the DYNA which makes me think that might be more of an issue. If I get a chance I'll push it under and see if theres' clearance issues. RIDE STRAIGHT>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>
Lowe's has a nice one i got from there i don't know how much it was exactally because my dad is a district manager for them so i got a discount but i think it was like 80$ if you were going to buy it but don't hold me on theat price it may not be correct.
