Default Windshield pouch question

I'm looking at the windshield 3-part pouch set. part# 58900-98B for my Ultra, and I have a few questions. Does this mount via velcro? Do you feel it blocks your vision? Thanks

I took mine off, doesnt impare vision, but after hard wireing the GDO and quiting smoking, I didnt need the pockets. Oh the mounting, its got a metal bar along the back side that fits between the windshield and dash.

If you are thinking about a pocket unit- I just ordered this item from Kuryakyn....

http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=All&ci=3098

The XM antena is under the fairing- clean install and it uses an FM modulator to put the tunes into factory system by simply choosing a certain (selectable) FM radio freq. I really love FM in my vehicles, and don't want to play with CD's. Your kind of music- when and where you want it (Not to mention NEWS, WEATHER (A big one), and now road conditions in many areas!

Take a peak at this....I think it is well worth the bucks. Anyone else have this unit- chime in on your thoughts (I hate being a gunea pig)....

I have the XM Delphi unit in my truck. What a great find that is from Kuryakin. I don't have the radio for my Std yet, but it is the next purchase, looks like you just set me up to put me back another $350.

I got a Delphi XM Roady 2 from WallyWorld for 94.95. Antenna is mounted on top of the radio under the fairing, and signal is FM Modulated. The unit mounts to the dash with a little pedistal that uses 3M tape for adhesive.

Regards,

Bill

Doing my duty to help spend your money Mac!!!

One possible use for a radio on a Harley is to drown out the female rider on her bad days....

LOL
