I'm interested in a 3/4 Super Seer helmet. Anyone who has one, how heavy are they?

IVE GOT A HALF HELMET FROM SEER FOR TOO MANY YEARS.. GREAT HAT,,, SO GOOD I BOUGHT A 2ND ONE 2 YRS AGO.. BEST HELMET IVE FOUND .. VERY COMFORTIBLE.. COPS WEAR EM ALL THE TIME

OK, dumb question. Who makes them? I,m looking for a smaller OD helmet. I,m tired of looking like a large mushroom.

I just purchased a Nolan Cruise half helmet primarily because of its light weight. I've heard that while states with mandatory helmet laws show a decrease in head trauma deaths, there is a slight increase in spinal cord injuries due to the extra weight resting on the top of the cervical column.In my opinion, wearing ahelmet is still a good trade off when things go badly, but if all other things are equal, a lighter helmet should be easier on your neck.

I figure the increase in spinal cord injuries is because the rider with a helmet survived the head trauma. When not wearing a helmet, the crushing of your skull cushions the blow to your spine. Also, when someone dies from a head injury, they don't bother to report whether they had a spine injury.

Wore a 3/4 wired for sound. Was OK. Prefer the Shoei 3/4. Think it is the RJ-Air...felt lighter.
