Default 2008 SERT

Looking for information on the 2008 SERT and cables, HDs Catalog shows cables to fit the 01F back to 03A kits but does not show them fitting the newer 01H kits. Does anyone know if the older calbe kit will fit? If not what do I need to purchase to make it work?
32107-01H
Fits ’02-’08 EFI Touring models
and ’01-’08 EFI VRSC™, XL,
Dyna
® and Softail® models. $459.95
EFI RACE TUNER CABLE KIT
32108-06
For use with Screamin’ Eagle EFI Race
Tuner Kit P/N 32107-01F and 32127-03A.
Kit includes two cables: bike to interface
and interface to computer cables.

Also howdifficult is the kit to install, I am not worried about the mechanical aspects however the computer part has me concerned.

I am not at home right now, but I believe the cable kit should work. I don't think anything changed for the 2008's.

The install should be easy, but I had my dealer do it with engine/intake/exhaust upgrades. It looks to be pretty well plug and play.

You will also need a USB to serial port adapter to work with the cables. The Harley cables are 9-pin, which newer laptops do not have anymore. The adapter is another $25, from Best Buy, Circuit City or the like.

The programming is VERY easy. There are maps on the CD that you can download. You can opt for a dyno tune aftre that for final tweaking if needed. The SERT canned map should be pretty close, though.

No change to cables, you will need the set from the dealer and if your laptop does not have a serial port you will need serial port to usb adapter cable too.
