I just got out ofwarranty and need to do 25K service. I am going to go with Mobil1 synthetic. What weights (20W50, 70W95, etc), what other things should be checked and or adjusted during the 25K service? [sm=feedback.gif]

I am going tobuy the Mobil1 and let the local indy shop do the work. I plan on riding all year round so should I get a heavier weight oil or lighter?

Funny thing is I called the local stealer and asked what they charged for 25K service they replied that it was around $300[sm=badidea.gif]. I called the local indy shop and they are going to charge $119 out the door[sm=goodidea.gif]... Let me think about, where I'm going to get my service done! Dam skippy I'm going with the Indy!!![sm=biker2.gif]

 

Wahl now....the only thang ah'd suggest ya do is foller up with both of 'em ta see what all is included in that service. Sometimes places charge ya a lower price fer oatmeal 'cuz it's been used once....

 

If the indy knows about harley's,he should be able to answer all of your questions.
What does the $119 price tag include?

First off, pisshead - why don't YOU mind YOUR own business? The guy had a good point (yeah - I went back at read the original string first - the one that YOU interjected yourself into) - if someone has a knife, have a gun. Your own stupidity is showing by your lack of knowledge of application/use of Deadly Force. You need to read up on FL laws before you go telling someone what they mean. As to whether or not someone is trying to act tough in YOUR eyes - well frankly, I don't recall asking your opinion, or much caring about it in the first place. Most of us don't "act" tough. We do what needs doin'.

Now...before you hit "reply", do yourself a favor and ask if you really want to escalate this...
