74 degrees up here in Dakota; had to take the afternoon off and go for a ride. Wife and I put 175 miles on today. Bought the 07 UC three weeks ago with 942 miles on it. Now there is 1989 miles. It has been in the 50's for the high and that only lasts for about 2 hours.I don't have any 5th gear whine an it pulls great in 6th at 65mph. I Love This Bike!!

 

That's the thing about harleys....we ALWAYS have to do it....ride it and be safe!

 

For daily riding I use the 40/40 rule. 40 degrees and no more then 40 % chance of rain, I'm riding. On weekends, temperature has to be 35 and above same rain chance. On weekends its 2 up. It great once you get all the right riding gear.

 

I hear you. Weather here has been great--60s for highs and sunny. Wednesday rained like hell. Temps dropped to 50's which ain't bad, but the lows are 32 this am. That's awful chilly for this country this early. But the afternoons are sweet.

 

On good days like that, I tell them at work that I have an eye problem. (can't see myself being there)
