Adjustable Riders Backrest Question????

Default Adjustable Riders Backrest Question????
Has anyone that installed a Adj Riders Backrest noticed a lot of free play when the backrest is in the mount? When I install mine I have a great deal of wiggle and slop in the mount as iff the holes in the backrest have been drilled to large. The dealer is telling me all the Adjustables are like this. If this is true has anyone come up with a work around????

Yeah, it flops around quite a bit unless its tucked down close to your seat.

Yup, same thing here...kinda feels like its not latched right. Mine doesn't flop around on its own, but if you grab ahold of it it can be wiggled around pretty easy. Seems solid when I'm using it though.

Mine did the same on a 03, unless it was down against the seat. Havent received the new one for an 08 yet.
