The only thing I can tell you to do is set it lower, it doesn't flop around as much this way but it is the nature of them as I am sure you allready know it is still very stable....

OK the consensus is that the Backrest does wobble. Does anyone have any way to make a Metal Bushing that would fit the holes in the Backrest and be just thick enough to eliminate the gap when the Backrest is installed into the mount. If someone could make a pair that would fit I would be happy to pay a fair price. Please let me know..........

Not to avoid answering your question, but I found the adjustable backrest uncomfortable. I took mine off and sold it on Ebay.

Yes mine is loose also if you wiggle it....I also have trouble getting it to latch in properly. I can't believe what they want for that part, but it is worth every penny on the longer rides.

I would think that if you made any kind of spacer, it would make it to tight to pull out when you want to remove it. It would only wobble if you are pushing it around. When you're riding, it is pressed back and is stable. When you're off the bike, it should be sitting still.

Wobbles, but also does not recline back far enough. I guess it is better than none, but notvery satisfied.
