Are you guys pretty happy with your HD adjustable backrest? It looks like it will be about $350 for the whole setup. Possibly getting a Zeppelin seat and wanted to install a backrest as well.
open to other suggestions if it would save a few bucks but still offer an adjustable backrest.
Thanks in advance.

I like mine. I adjusted it to a comfortable position and have not messed with it since. Easy to take off and put back on when you have to remove the seat.
I purchased HD's manual adjusting back rest in '10 for my Road Glide and have used it on my 3 trikes and never any problems. Just adjust it and forget it.
HD claimed it wouldn't fit on the TriGlides, but it does. I also have the Road Zepplin seat.
Mark, I have the HD adjustable backrest on my TG with the Zeppelin seat and works great, wouldn't have anything else.

I have the Harley adjustable backrest and like it, but I looked at the Grasshopper back rest just now and I don't see why it wouldn't work for a whole lot less money. The only downside I could think of is I occasionally adjust the seat when doing a long ride, couldn't do that with a Grasshopper although it is adjustable. If I didn't have one already I would be seriously looking at this. The install is way easier too.
