My backrest has two comfy pillows at about shoulder height... although I have been asked to stop calling her "backrest" lol

At this time it is on a Harley couch seat. Best money I
have ever spent on a Harley. tenn.

I am looking into the same thing and the Mustang seems to get the most consistent positive reviews, with the Harley back rest next except for their outrageous pricing. I've tried the Harley back rest on my friend's Ultra and really liked it. Now I am shopping for one as well and decided that since I prefer to leave my tour pack on for convenience, why not "own it" and make it a full "geezer glide" and ride in comfort.. ha ha

I am looking for the same thing, however I’m perturbed ,I was going to buy Harley’s backrest for my 17 SGS but to make this work I have to buy additional parts just for the end result. You all know what Harley wants for it’s parts and for something like a riders backrest in my mind you shouldn’t have to buy additional just to get the end result.

Harley makes you buy the mount and the pad separately so you can mix/match.

I have the HD adjustable backrest. I like it, and do adjust it... but if I were to do it again, I'd buy the fixed mount.
