Which backrest?
I have mix and matched both, as I dont usually buy Harley anything.
But I got a good deal on the HD couch seat! And it seems to be working
for my back....as it has a fiber board in the bottom so as the foam bottoms
out, the fiber board still has give/spring in it.....tenn.

If it fits a 13 RK I am interested.
I can take a picture tomorrow but I suggest calling your local parts department. I gave one to a buddy a few years ago for his 13 (?) Street Glide and think he only needed some different bolts? Best bet would be shoot me a PM in case I lose track of this thread.

It’s p/n 52501-09A $114.95 I was told I didn’t need anything else to install this backrest but low and behold local dealer said I needed bracket which is $ 209.95, double the price of the backrest. I passed SMH! Yes I’m interested pm me.
In my opinion, Mustang makes the best backrest on the market!
It's MUCH more comfortable than my Corbin, and fits my backside perfectly.
Also like the way it folds down, makes it easier for a passenger to get on.
If I could only make a way to fit a Mustang backrest on my Corbin solo it would be AWESOME!
I also use an Alaska leathers sheepskin cover on Sundowner and the backrest.
It's a good combination. Sorry, I don't have a photo of the setup.

The mounts and the mounting posts are totally different.
Even the Mustang needs it's own mount to fit on a Harley from my experience, I might be wrong, maybe someone could confirm.
