Default Any Issues With Mixing Tire Brands

It's time for a new rear tire on my 2012 UC. I've been running Dunlop American Elite's and have been pretty happy with them.
No complaints re the life as I have 20,000 miles on the rear. Only issue is it started cupping about half way through it's lifespan.
I'd like to try a Michelin Commander II as they seem to get great reviews as well. Not changing the front right now as it (American Elite) still has more than half life remaining.
Any issues or cautions running the Michelin on the rear and the Dunlop on the front...or am I overthinking it?

I've been doing it for about fifty thousand miles. Commander on the back and cobra up front right now and I think I'm going to keep running this combo. Before that had couple Dunlaps with Commanders on back. Been said on here not to mix radials with none radials.

I had a Stock Harley tire on the front of my 07 Ultra Classic and a aftermarket tire on the rear can't remember what brand, but had No problem tracking, wobbling or steering.

I've been mixing tyres for over half a million miles! I haven't had any problems for much of that time, but had an experience many years ago when the bike just didn't handle right. If that happens, simply replace the old tyre with one to match your newest one.

Blew a Michelin Commander II rear tire while on trip. Dealer didn't have a replacement Commander II and to get one would of taken days. Dealer told me there wasn't an issue mixing tires and installed the original Dunlop tire. Had no issues whatsoever. If I had my choice I would of stuck with the Michelin Commander II tires.

Can't see there being a problem. As long as both tires are in good condition.
