Default Adjustable Rider Backrest Install Question

Where does the pull button on the adjustable rider backrest mount? Does it involve cutting the seat for installation?

Left hand side below seat, no cutting involved.

Another note is that you may want to place a few washers between the fender and the base of the backrest in the two forward bolts so as to prevent the backrest from being too far forward.

Yeah it goes on the left side, an extra pair of "little hands " will definately help out.
It's a real tight squeeze trying to get it mounted properly.
