Default Doherty Power Pacc

After reading several posts from some of the great and helpful members here, I have decided to go with the Doherty Power Pacc for my 08 Street glide. Just one more question though, Is there a performance difference by going to the chrome cover with the filter exposed ? I would like to stay with the stock football cover for now as I live in a brand new neighbourhood with a ton of construction and dust around. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

Itwould be so slight that you'd never notice the difference....

Yea, I wouldn't worry.. You might have to clean the filter a little sooner than you would normally.. (drive around the dust) :<()

Dump the football. I am asap..!!

The football will fit fine with thePowerPacc with thespacer they supply, but you may not like having to wrap you leg around it to get to the brake. Iwent to an Evo air cleaner cover. The extra width of the PowerPaccwith the bulge of the football made it too wide for my braking comfort. Doherty makes a great looking round cover, also.

You will not notice the difference in performance, but it does stick out farther .

I tried mine with no cover before I spent the money on just the end cover and its a lot of noise,I bought the 8" Ness cover which looks good and sounds stock.
