Hope mine falls out as easy as it looks like yours did, how long did it take you to strip her down?
It was probably 12 hours of actual work. I've done a ton of topends, but this is my 1st bottom end, so I've spent some time being careful with things and making sure I wasn't f'ing anything up. So far, it's been surprisingly easy. The tuffest part was splitting the cases after all the bolts were out. The sealer holds them together pretty tight. I had to refer back to the manual, which pointed me to the "pry points"....
Same for me top ends but havent split a case yet, won't beable to say that soon, I seen in the shop maual the pry points for the cases (studying for what's involved). Seeing your pics makes me want to go out in the garage and take the bike apart. The good thing for me is I have spare heads and jugs so I can send them in for core so it cuts down on down time for me. (live in FL. ride year round). Keep us up to speed on progress I as many others can't wait to see how it is after it's back together.
Oh this is not good......I can see were gonna have to go big this winter. Dam and I kept telling myself this was just gonna be a everyday cruzer. Leave it 'fairly" stock......but no I had to find this forum.
