Legend Air Suspension
I’m looking at the L7 Legend air suspension for my 05 Ultra Classic. Wanted to know if any one has the Legend air suspension and where did you mount the air compressor? The L7 is the new system thats 1" shorter.

I am installing the Arnott system now. I got them from Shooter64 and he test rode them on an Ultra Classic and was very impressed. I orginally was going to purchase the Platinum Air system. I will give a seat of the pants review in a few days when I finish the install and ride it for a while.

I got the Platinum Kit from Bart (Shooter64) and it rides really good. The directions could be a bit better, but if you are mechanically inclined you will get it.
If you have cruise mount the compressor under the battery box, if not mount it under the driver side (Left) panel above the fuse block.

Platinum seems to be a favorite with the ability to adjust ride height and the firmness of the ride at any height. AirFX looks like a high quality system too but I don't know of anybody that has used one.

A thing to note about the Platinum system is if you are wanting to slam it to the fender it will not do that. I can lower it all the way down on the firmness and ride height and still ride around and not have to worry about rubbing. Some other systems that I have seen get lower, but rub. I don't know if this was by design or if they just got lucky because of the two air bladders. I wished it would get lower, but I do like the system not that I have it.
