Do it yourself. Be carful with the right side. If you have access to air just work air nossel into grip area and "poof" off they come. When you go to install the new ones I use a very lil bit of liquid soap about first 1/2 of grip to get them started. They should be off and on in less than 1 hour.

Take your time do it right if you have questions see your service manual or ask a friend.

I guess it depends on the bike, I just changed mine on my 05 bagger, the left was hardest because of the dual cable set up. It just took some time and patients, if you have dual cables be careful not to lose the little barrel end on the cable. jack

Just take your time. It is not hard, but the right side can be a bit tricky.

Do yourself, follow directions and have service manual. Take your time and place a sheeet under bike while working on it. Pieces can be seen and picked up easier on sheet. Watch little brass piece on brake lever and watch brake light switch.

Make sure you squeeze the break lever and install a small wedge or popcicle stick to keep it compressed before you start and while you work or you will break the plastic brake light switch when you tighten the screws on the handlebar brackets and pull the brake handle. If it breaks you will loose your brake light function on both the front and rear. It's a plastic piece and what a pain to replace the switch! You have to solder in the new switch and the small wires!
