Like I"ve said before, I f*ckin love this place. A great, thought provoking post. In fact, I am still provoking my thoughts. Others are just provoked. Like a few others have said, this is gonna be fun to watch. Thank you!
there is a guy down the road who rides a bagger.I don't get it . I mean , he isn't really that old or anything .
I asked him why and he said he shouldn't have to explain and got all defensive.
Is it because he feels safe riding something the size of a car ?
Is he just lazy and wants to riding something that he doesn't have to worry about falling over ?
It can't be because of storage because he trailers it most places and doesn't even wave when he is riding it.
Same here...had a '82 FLT shovel before the Standard...sold it to a guy in Canada...GREAT bike and I do miss it but it looked/rode like a tank...baggers are the sh*t for long distance touring but in my case 90% of my riding is local and 200 miles or less at a time...I needed a lighter, more maneuverable ride.

Hell so did I, till her bags got bigger, wider and really started to sag. Then she started to drape herself over a Fatboy, cause my Dyna could no longer hold the extra space. Last time I checked she got trailered everywhere. Funny threads to start a sunday.

Nooooooooooo....this keeps him busy......the last time Zu did anything "constructive", he accidently blew up 3 city blocks. We have to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't escape again.
