Default Question About Stock HD CD Player

Before I call the dealer and look like an idiot I thought I would ask yall first. Is there a trick to the stock HD CD Players on a Road Glide? I don't think there is, and I don't plan on using mine all that often, but I checked to make sure that it worked today and it will not accept CD's. It looks to me like there are 2 plastic vertical bars in the way to prevent the cd from inserting into the slot.

This is an 05 that I bought used, and these two vertical plastic bars are about a quarter inch inside the opening about the same place as the dust gaurd. I would find it hard to believe that this bike made it almost 3 years with shipping material in the CD player and that the shipping material would be that far into the CD player. Maybe you guys are thinking of something else.

Yea that is what I thought at first so I jammed the Eject button a couple of times nothing happened and it will not change the mode over to CD. That is when I started to investigate further and saw the two little vertical bars. I will run by the dealer after work today to see what they say.
