just get rid of the stock pads we switch the pads on brand new bikes for years.

I have the same problem with my 05 Custom, stealership told me it was a known problem also, however they also advised me it can be corrected by repacking the bearings as it is a "harmonics" that is causing the high pitch. Myself, I don't know-suppose it's possible! I'm still dealing with it & will probably go after it in the spring. Good Luck & let us know if you got the annoyance fixed!

My front brakes squealed badly right from the beginning. At the 1000 mile check up, the dealer reversed the pads on both rotors and the problem "went away". Now they only squeal if I am parking the bike and backing up. After 6500 miles it's still doing the same but I can live with that.
