Default Removable Rider's Seat?

Does the rider seat with the arm rest separate easily from the tour pack or is it an integral part?

If you remove the tour pac the riders back rest and speaker pod will be removed with it. you need to unplug the wires from inside the speaker pods. Just pull the wire out of the pod under the speaker until the plug comes out and disconnect. The tail light power feed and the antennas unplug under the tour pac liner after you remove the liner. If you want to you can seperate the pads and the speaker pod from the tour pac.
In most cases the rider seat and driver seat are one piece when stock. What model bike do you have?

Wally, I have a Heritage Classic and will probably pick up a new glide this spring. Don't know which one yet. I like the Street Glide, but I usually wind up buying the top of the line. In this case, probably an Ultra Classic. Generally, if I don't buy the top, I am always wishing I had some option the other doesn't have. My reason for this thread is that I do not ride 2 up. Would like the extra storage in the tour pack but don't necessarily want to haul around the rear seat with arm rests. I take long rides and my T-bad would fit between the tour pack and a backrest.

Get the docking kits and make your trunk removable, then you can also have a solo seat to pop on and off.
It's real easy once you have the docking kits set up.

Don't forget, those rear speakers aren't just for the passenger!
