Is there a new spread sheet with the new lower zink formulas? What's the latest and greatest?

Here's the newest (2005) analysis of various oils. Granted it is old news since the 1-07 oil reformulations but if you compareMobil motorcycle oil to their 15-50 product. The cycle oil had 25% more ZDDP (zink) back then. It's only a quess what the ratio is in 2007 but I'd think the spead is still similar.

Here in Orlando WalMart stocks it as does Pep Boys. I use the V-twin in my Porsche as the auto Mobil 1 doesn't have the ZDDP (zinc and phosphate) anti-wear additives in adequate levels anymore for my old (1985) air-cooled motor.
I've seen a number of messages indicating there's not that much difference or no difference as far as the additive packages go into different mobile synthetic oils. That's not true! There's quite a few differences between 20-50 V-twin engine oil and, 15-50 mobile one. V- twin as far higher amounts of the zinc and phosphorus, their type of additive that helps plate cylinder walls and Pistons, and specifically prevents wear and tear on air cooled engines. You would not dare to use v-twin oil to crankcase in your car eventually, the zinc package and phosphorus would ruin your catalytic converter. Personally I find some of the postings here dealing with what it costs for the mobile product, I'm quite glad I still have the availability of Amsoil. it's a much more reasonable priced item, works very good and they also produce an excellent oil filter.I know S&S stocking dealers, have availability not only of the motor oil, but the correct oil filter. Mobile makes excellent oil filters, but they're impossible to find! If you have any luck at all you might find one of those in your area.
The Wall Mart where I go did not carry it either,I ask a young clerk about getting it,he said he would look into it,as we walked away mu buddy said I would never hear from him agian.About 4 hours later the kid calls and said they have it in and will carry it from now on,and they do.So ask your store to get it in,maybe they will.
