It must be a big myth. I read many posts on this forum about it. but it only peaked its head on hard cornering and not the kind of riding most baggers do. Not to say that you guys are "most" baggers. The bracket fixed this issue.
Yeah it's a big myth because the swingarm isn't connected to the fender...
The grab bar may stiffen the rearfender area, but what does that have to do with thegeometry of the suspension and how the bike handles?
Having taken this same bike, two up with and withouta tourpak, up and down Deals gap, I can tell you the grab bar does nothing but look nice.
Anyone that tells you different iseitherimagining it or needs to look at their fender horns real good because they obviously have another problem.
