Almost bit it today.... Turned down the main road to my place and started rolling on..... Well I hit something cause she kicked out real fast and this threw the woman onto my shoulder so now Im trying to keep her on and stop the bike from wiggle wagging (voliently)..... Once she kicked out I pulled in the clutch and turned down the throttle and steered into her to help straighten it out of course then she went the other way; Im glad Im a big boy to hang on tight to the bars and keep the woman up........ I think it was violent cause the woman was hanging onto my shoulders so she wouldnt be tossed off....... Now the first thing that went threw my head was DO NOT TOUCH THAT FRONT BRAKE..... So the only question I really had was should I have left the clutch out so low her down faster?
Oh I had to change my shorts and the woman says she didn't but.......
I was just throttling on..... and the rear kicked..... Road had a little puddleof water but Im thinking there was oil in that water as it was in front of a dealership repair shop...
aye plenty on a dirt bike..... but the wanting to flip the opposite way sucked... Atleast on a dirt bike I can crank the throttle to slide it threw....
nothing you can bolt onto your bike would have helped if you slid in some spilled diesel or some kind of oil. sounds like you did a great job of keepin her in shape.
Glad you kept it upright and you and the girl are okay.
I doubt that engaging the clutch would have been a good idea if you weren't going straight because that would have been like applying the rear brake, limiting the rear wheel's ability to roll, perhaps leading to a high side crash, or at least even more instability in the bike.
