Default Licence plate relocation

I would like to relocate my licence plate on my Road Kingto under the rear light as it doesn't quite look right wedged between the light and the rear rack (it's had to be trimmed down to fit)- I should point out that I'm in UK and our plates are a lot bigger than yours in US. Is there a kit available either HD or otherwise?

The HD catalog has one that mounts the plate below the rear turn signals/tail light(see rear view of a Steet Glide to see what it looks like)but it's a complete replacement new turn signals etc so it's almost $250 US dollars - Works with RG's & EG's you'll have to check to see about RK's but I thinks it's ok

Have somebody here buy it and send it to you.
Unless there are fees from the government on your end that would make it notfinancially practical.
Then there are like 8% taxes on this end depending on where you bought it.

Here's the HD product Slash mentioned:

Bullet Rear Turn Signal Bar and License Plate Relocation Kit

Accent the long and lean look of your Touring bike. This complete kit moves your license plate from the support bar to the rear fender tail for a true custom look. The kit includes a Bullet Turn Signal Bar with integrated down-lighting for the license plate, bullet turn signals, chrome rear fender tip, and decorative trim to cover the original license plate mounting holes.

53702-04A

Fits '99-later Touring models. '99-early '03 models require separate purchase of Tail Light Socket P/N 68370-03A.

MSRP US $247.95

This is the kit I put on my EG when I did the Street Glide conversion to the rear fendrer.

Softbrake.com offers a license plate mount that uses your turn signal/bolts to mount the plate below the brake light.

I was at Provincewide HD in Antrim, N. Ireland in September--you UK guys have someBIG and VERY YELLOWlicense plates. But I did see wide plates mounted beneath King TPs on a few EG Classics and Ultras, so the HD and Softbrake products should work for you.

Good luck.

Buy it from Zanotti's on line and have them ship it to you--other Europeans do it; no doubt a Brit can also.

Do like I did. Buy a street glide fender with the tail light and blinkers. Lot of guys are putting the FBI kit on and selling there set-up.

Harleypingman:Thanks for showing that option !!! Just looked at SoftBrake's site and saw the license plate kit NICE !!! The rear tail light wouldn't be illuminated like with the HD kit,but I'm guessing the LEO's wouldn't worry about it.
