Bought both with custom bars bent back and higher than stock, they work well for me. My next ride has much higher bars. I need to sell one of these first! I hope I enjoy the reach or I will change out to something I am used to.
Still have the stock ones on it, but trying to figure out what fits better for me so I can change them out, would like something that are about 2" closer to me, if any one has any suggestions for my 06 Ultra I'd appreciate it. When I change the bars I'll paint the inner fairings while they are off.
sorry for the stupid question, but the Heritage bards everyone talks about, are the bars of a Heritage Classic Softtail or are they a brand? I have the stock bars on my 07 RK and get pain in my shoulders and back on rides over an hour so I am looking for new bars. From what I read here at HDF, the heritage bars can bring the grips up & back enough to make a really comfortable ride. How do you test this theory without buying and installing the bars?? I have a Mustang seat, that the dealer let me ride before I bought, but it's not the same with the bars.
