HD has 1 yr warrenty, Gerbing has lifetime warrenty. It's a no-brainer. Not sure why it would be important to have the HD logo on your gloves. HD needs to focus on manufactoring motorcycles.
Simple philosphy... I don't go to Fruit of the Loom to buy motorcycles, and I won't buy underwear from Harley Davidson.
From talking with the people at Gerbring's, they make the HD heated jacket liner, vest, pant linerand gloves. They honor HD clothes as if they had their name on it. Well over the year HD gives you.
Turtleman is correct. People are wrong about the HD warranty on HD branded electric clothing. The MoCo will replace it during the first year. After the first year, Gerbings will fix or repair electrial issues. 25% off sounds like a good deal to me.
My local HD dealer is running 25% off all clothing. I was going to order heated jacket and gloves from Gerbing. How does the HD heated stuff compare?
I would find my best price on Gerbings/HD gear, as it is the same with different logos. I already had some Gerbings gloves and recently bought the HD controller (single portable unit), which was actually cheaper at MSRP than the Gerbings variant, and the HD controller has the pouch/clip in the kit that is optional on the Gerbings. Chicago HD has them for $48, Zanotti's $55 (they claim HD provides no dealer markup at MSRP [$60] and their quoted price is below cost).
I used my jacket liner and gloves for th first time today. Excellent stuff! The jacket liner seems a bit small, but the website said that it should fit snug anyway. I have Gerbing's by the way.
